Multi-currency billing
Definition: Whether the vendor bills and operates in your currency — and what happens when it does not. List-price currency and billing currency are different questions.
Why it matters when comparing prices
For Canadian buyers this is a first-pass filter: FreshBooks, Wave, and QuickBooks bill in CAD, and Shopify bills Canadian merchants in CAD at checkout, while Xero lists in USD. Beyond the sticker, ask how the product handles CAD bank feeds and tax categories — billing in your currency means little if the bookkeeping does not follow.
